From Idea to First Download
Breakdown
Nqobile Vundla, the founder of CardSpace, is a close friend of the Origen Software team. When he first came up with the concept, he knew that we would be the team to build it for him.
As a designer himself, Nqobile was able to easily translate his concept into workable designs, supported by a functioning prototype. From there, we were able to provide feedback and iron out the user journey before beginning development.
The MVP for the app was built in a matter of weeks before being released to the market and gaining thousands of users within it's first month.
Origen Software has now stepped in as technical co-founders of the platform and are working to extend it's offerings and capabilities so that the app becomes so much more for it's dedicated user base.
What we did
1. Wireframing, designs and prototyping
2. Rapidly built the mobile app from the ground up (authentication, socials, encryption, barcode scanning, wallet management)
3. Built the public facing landing page
4. Performed multiple UAT cycles
5. Helped prepare the app for market
The results
CardSpace launched in less than 4 weeks and has quickly gained over 3000 users. We're actively working with Nqobile and the rest of the CardSpace team to continuously add improvements to the CardSpace app.
